Trainees over 70 years of age have to bring a declaration from their doctor stating that they are in good health and fit to participate.

Payment and cancellation terms:
Cruise fee up to NOK 4,000 must be paid in full within 30 days after reservation. Cruise fee beyond NOK 4,000 will be divided into two equal parts, the first to be paid within 30 days after reservation, the rest 30 days before departure.

Cancellation:
In case of cancellation more than 30 days before the cruise starts we keep NOK 300. Cancellation 30-15 days in advance, we will further take 10% of the cruise fee; 15-7 days in advance, 50% of the cruise fee, and less than 7 days before the cruise starts we will keep the cruise fee in full.

Declaration:
I will take out travel insurance for the cruise. I do hereby declare that I am in good health. Accidents with personal injury may occur, but if so happens I shall refrain from claiming compensation from the ship and the crew, and limit any claim to the compensation provided for by the ship's P&I insurance. I accept the general rules for order, safety and work on the Sørlandet and shall perform in equal share of work, watches and duties. The foundation has right to make changes in the program and to cancel trips due to technical or practical reasons. If the changes are disagreeable to the respective trainee, they will have their prepaid cruise fee refunded pro rata.
