The Association issues yearly a newspaper called "Ship O'hoy" where members are informed of various events from past year, and topics for the coming season, together with other relevant matters of interest related to the SØRLANDET.

Personal membership fee is annually: NOK 200.-
and for companies, associations, etc. : NOK 1000.-.

A friendship association of the SØRLANDET was established in 1977. The main purpose of this association is to keep the SØRLANDET alive as a sailing ship, and by different efforts keep the interest around the ship alive.
